It’s all Personal
The little things…they add up to big things really quickly and can truly make or break a guest’s experience at a wedding.
An amazing invitation can set the tone for wedding guests to get really excited about a wedding, and the queen of custom wedding and event stationery, from Save the Date cards through the Invitations and on to beautiful thank you cards is Diane Chaffin Kostal of It’s All Personal, Located in Parma, OH. It’s All Personal offers designs as simple as classic prints and as elaborate as laser wraps with glitter and rhinestones. Kostal has touched more than 500 events in some way, as she also creates reception signs, card boxes, table numbers, programs, seating charts, candy buffets, and so much more.
My favorite thing about my profession is the freedom to design and create something that makes our clients smile and say, ‘yes, that’s the design that we envisioned’”, Kostal said. Her biggest challenge is clients that come to her last minute, thinking that invitations are easy, she says, but she takes it one step at a time and try to make sure they get exactly what they want. “I always ask my clients to tell me about their vision of their wedding. I like to know more than their color scheme, I try to get the overall feel of the wedding that they’re looking for. I show them examples of my work and ask them to show me inspiration from the wedding dress to their cake design, and together, we come up with their vision,” she said.
As far as the popular Do It Yourself movement goes, Kostal is diplomatic. “I think that invitations can be done DIY if you are crafty and artistic. Just take your time and remember that the invitation sets the tone of your event and will be the first glimpse of your special day that your guests will see. Make an impression,” she said.
“It’s All Personal is so blessed to be able to help couples in a small way to create the wedding of their dreams, and we enjoy every moment,” she said.
